| A pale, cloudy beer, refreshingly spritzy and tart with a delicious creamy frothiness. |
30/8 - Had some trouble mixing up the LDM. Overall a very pale straw colour. Smells a bit like grain (funny that!) 31/8 - Not getting anybubbling from the airlock. There is some krauzen in the fermenter, so maybe its just a slow yeast? 1/9 - Still no action from the airlock. Found the fermenter lid was a bit lose. Tightened it. 2/9 - Airlock bubbling away. Still not very active, but bubbling none the less. |

| Place the Light Dry Malt in a sanitised, well drained fermenter. Add 2 litres of hot water and immediately pick the fermenter up and swirl the contents until dissolved (about 15 secs) - this avoids lumps. Add the balance of ingredients and dissolve. Add cool water to the 23 litre mark and stir vigorously. Sprinkle yeast and seal. | |

| Aroma: |
9 out of 12 |
Light aroma - what would be expected from a wheat beer. Only a slight hint of the hops - overall aroma would be regarded as "fresh" |
| Appearance: |
2 out of 3 |
Overall, nice light honey colour with some cloudiness - again as to be expected from wheat beer. Slow to froth and doesn't hold it's head well. |
| Flavor: |

Overall, a watery taste, lacking in some of the wheat/yeast taste usually associated with wheat beers. hops balance was nice, with a fresh taste and little aftertaste. Probably a shade too sweet, not sickly sweet, but tasted like excess suger rather than a natural sweetness. |
| Mouthfeel: |
2 out of 5 |
Watery, lacking in body and carbonation. frech aftertaste was nice - probably not a hot weather beer. |
| Overall Impression: |
7 out of 10 |
Overall not bad, quite drinkable. A little too sweet for my taste - and could have done with more "body" although I'm not sure how you'd achive that. Big plus was that there was very little residue in the bottles - it settled nicely making it very "user friendly" |
